UrbanLounge | Scott Michael Collins Furniture
UrbanLounge is a simple but at the same time modern seat that redefines outdoor furniture. Departing from your typical outdoor lounge chair, the lounge uses a single piece of bent plywood, which fits into the natural surroundings and forms an ergonomically pleasing seat. The construction requires no fasteners and creates very little wasted material, which adds to the beauty in the simplicity of the form.

SRG Guitar | Ibanez Guitars
Ibanez Guitars have always stood for heavy rock, and the SRG is no different. Taking the Classic RG shiloette one step further, the SRG adds extensive sculpting throughout the body. The sculpted horns allow for easier access to the highest frets while the edge treatment allows for an up close and personal feel.

HNA Water Filter | DesignedWise Products
HNA was designed to fulfill a specific unmet need in the water filtration market. Current hub and lateral products do not address the needs of the installer and service men and women who are the primary handlers of the product. HNA is a different kind of hub and lateral that requires only one tool for installation, and doesn’t require reaching into the small cramped neck of the tank. The laterals quickly and easily lock into place which in turn significantly cuts down on installation time.

IEZO Headphones | Dyson
IEZO allows headphone users to better understand the effect of volume and prolonged use on their hearing. Rather than limit the users ability to control the volume of their media, IEZO provokes the user to take an active role in their music experience. Through simple visual feedback, the user is notified when they are approaching a dangerous level of listening, or are at risk of listening to music for an over-extended period of time. All of these notifications promote positive action and proactive care of the user's hearing.

Nessy Faucet | Delta Faucet
Nessy was designed as a medium to teach children proper hygiene at a young age, in a fun memorable way. The soft, friendly form is touch sensitive allowing for clear and easy interaction. The colorful front mounted touch points put all the options within reach, and the presets provide proper hand-washing and tooth brushing regiment, aided with a memorable song, so even when Nessy is gone, good hygiene lives on.

SOLO II | Peavey Electronics
The redesign of the Peavey Solo stemmed from a simple need of a face-lift, and eventually grew into a completely new ideology for portable amplification. Many of the innovations on the Solo came from looking at how musicians tackle the task of making all their gear mobile. Simple low cost features such as offsetting the weight of the speaker and amplifier side by side, while placing two handles at the topmost points create an ergonomic way to carry a hefty load. The user interface of the SOLO II was simplified by placing the highest priority controls at the users fingertips.
The SOLO II design process can be seen during the Peavey studio tour on American Chopper.

Aurora Cooktop | Whirlpool
The Aurora Cooktop was developed as a look into the future of cooking. Working in collaboration with Whirlpool America, new market segments were established by looking into second generation immigrants to the US as a future consumer.
From this research the Aurora Cooktop was developed as a future new appliance category. The Aurora encompasses exsisting American oven standards while incorporating features to allow for traditional Indian Tandoori cooking.

HUMANSCALE 1-9
Normally I wouldn’t consider spending this much on a dying breed (print), but for some reason I’m intreagued by the HUMANSCALE 1-9 Dreyfuss Collection.
